Spell Check

Hi,

I am running Word 2000 on a laptop running Windows 2000
service pk 4. When I try to run spell check the
application does not open up. The blue at the top of the
screen flashes. If I open up the task manager & try to
close word the spell checker will open up.

I have tried reinstalling work but problem still exists.
Any help or advice would be much appreciated.
