Spell check on OE6

Since installing XP (previous Win 98)the spell check
function before an email is transmitted refuses to
operate - a textbox comes up with the message 'the
spellcheck on this document was halted. Do you want to
send anyway?' If I reply 'no' then of course the message
will not send!

All the settings are correct so why.....?

Hi!Harry!
spell check function is associated with office suit[check word] so
please check there whether it is functional or not.If not insert the
office CD and "Detect and Repair" office.

Well, if you have 6 CD's, they are not the XP CD. You are probably using the
restore CD's the OEM supplied to restore the system back to it's original
shipped state.
If you look at step #10, you will see the option to download the expanded
file from a web site. You will just have to trust that they haven't altered
it with malicious code, which is why you should use the files from a known
secure source [I.E. the XP CD] when possible.
BTW, the file is safe.
Click on the Expand button
