Spell Check issue - ignore original message text in reply or forwa

Hi,

I have the above option turned on in outlook, and it still checks spelling
of fwd or RE emails? anyone have any ideas on how to make it work?

I am interested in this solution as well. Can you please inform me if anyone
helps you? My outlook was working perfectly and just started doing the
spelling on replies and forwards last week! Please let me know!

I've been doing battle with related issues for some time. My experience
indicates that as long as Tools/Options/Mail Format/Message Format is set to
use Word to edit your outgoing message, Word will spell-check the original
messages and subject lines as well as your outgoing message. Word simply
ignores the other setting.

I had hoped that using Word for editing outgoing, but not for reading
incoming messages, I would be saved. My hope was in vain. You must fire
Word.
