Speech Recognition for Hold'Em

Is there any way to play Microsoft's Texas Hold'Em using speech recognition?
If not will support be added? Is there any way we can add our own customer
commands to the speech recognition engine?

Hey Michael,

I'm running Windows Vista Ultimate x64. When I say "fold", "check", "call",
or "all-in" it states that the command isn't recognized. When saying
"shownumbers", the only thing that highlights are the menus and the
min/max/close buttons. So far the only thing I have found to work is using
"mousegrid" which is a bit annoying. Thanks for reply.

I tried saying "File" when playing Hold'Em and it didn't recognize the
command. The only menu options are "Game" and "Help". When I say "Game",
the game menu appears without any problems. When I say "Call", Speech
Recognition states that the "command isn't avaible now".

Michael,

I went to your blog site and noticed that you're familiar with speech
workflow applications. Is there any way to add speech workflow to my
version of Texas Hold'Em (which apparently doesn't seem to support it)? If
so, what tools would I need to use in order to add the functionality using
the .NET framework 3.0 and SAPI?

I currently own VS 2005 but I don't think it'll work with .NET 3.0. Cheers!

No the Speech Workflow samples on my site are for Microsoft Speech Server
2007 Beta (Telephony stuff) Has nothing to do with Desktop SAPI stuff.

You could write like a console application using the
System.Speech.Recognition api in the .Net 3.0 framework and do mouse clicks
on certain areas of the screen.

That would make a good blog post. I've got a couple other post I need to do
first, but I'll do one on making a console app to speech reco for Hold'Em!
