Specifying Default Font

Rebecca St. Martin

In order to control the style of the font throughout my
presentation, I've edited the Master Slide.

Title Area > Century Gothic
Object Area > Trebuchet

One problem arises, however. When I use the Text Box Tool,
I get Times New Roman. How do I change the default font
to Trebuchet. I've been able to figure this out in Word,
but have no idea how to do it in PowerPoint.

It drives me crazy to have to format this text every time
I want to add something outside the Object Area Autolayout.

HeLp! HeLp! HeLp!

Set default font: Select the Text tool, click in an unused area of the
slide, go to Format > Text and set it to the font, size, etc. that you want,
and then check the box next to "Default for new objects". Note that this is
a setting specific to the current presentation.
