I know the steps to create an "import/export" specification file (in Access)
and use it to import a text delimited file (.csv usually) if the file is
delimited by a comma, for example.
But can we define any code as the delimiter, for instance, a special
character with ascii code 240? If not mistaken, I've come across such a
import specification file in a database and I put it in action, I did work
with a delimited file where the delimiter is a special character. I couldn't
figure out how it was created in the first place.
I could write vba codes to import the file but just wonder how to create
