special character use in Access 97

I Have been unable to use characters such as: ≤. They
paste as an equals sign, even if I change the database
font to the font used for selection of the character in
Character Map.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

I don't know what character that is, but I guess it's a unicode
character. If so, since Access 97 doesn't support unicode, you're out
of luck if you want to store it in a text or memo field. I suppose you
might store it in some binary object field.
