Speakers not working

My speakers were working fine in vista build 5384 until i pluged in a usb
headset. now the speakers no longer work even with the usb headset is
unplugged. The speakers work fine in xp. Any help would be appreciated,
thanks.
 
You probably have to go into the settings for your sound devices and
re-select your speakers as your preferred output device.
