speaker notes

When projecting a presentation, if I use my speaker
notes, will they only be visible on my laptop screen or
will they also be projected?

My powerpoint version is 2002. So what your saying is
that if my laptop is connected to a projector and I
access my speaker notes, my audience will not see the
notes box? I know ths sounds like a simple question, but
I have never used the speaker notes box and I would like
to use it tomorrow morning as I am speaking to about 50
other dentists. I don't have aprojector available tonight
to test it, and I don't want my audience seeing my notes
on the screen.
Tanks for your help.

Joe,

I know your audience wont see your notes on the screen unless you actually
set it up to do so. It's a function I never use, so I am hoping to see how
ti works in October.

The other alternative is printed speaker notes.
