Speaker Notes Revisited

I did a quick search and saw a few answers to this question: "How do I see
speaker notes while in display mode without my audience seeing the speaker
notes?"

Reading all the entries, I am coming away with the definite conclusion that
this is NOT possible without dual monitors.

I want to make sure that there is no other way before I respond to my
client. Any final advice would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Thank you for clarifying that one of the monitors could be a projector. In
reading the instructions on http://www.rdpslides.com/pptfaq/FAQ00231.htm on
this issue,
I was under the impression that dual monitors referred to two laptops plus
the projector! I will hook up my Dell or Toshiba laptop to the projector and
try to view the notes while on Slide Show.

Thank you.

That's correct. You need dual monitors. (One could be a projector).

You're welcome. I don't know why, but something (maybe the way you asked
your questions?) made me want to specify that a projector could serve as the
second monitor. Weird how that works sometimes. :)
