My client is trying to determine what Spyware, Spamware, Adware (pop up blocker) software he should use

Amazon recommends something called "StopZilla", which blocks ads, kills cookies, squashes spyware etc

As well as something called "Spam Soap

I, myself, am not sure if any software should be used, or not

Any input in regards to this/these subject ('s), is much appreciated

I use the Google Toolbar to block popup ads (and it is great
for searches too). I use SpyBot Search & Destroy from
www.safer-networking.org and have it set to block about 500
sites.
and Ad-Aware from www.lavasoftusa.com

I use McAfee version 6 (with all updates) in a scan all
files mode with heuristics. I check daily for updates.

I also have a program called SpySites which blocks about
2,000 cookies and sites.

I use Zone Alarm (free version) 4.5.594

I recommend *against* Spyware, Spamware, and Adware. ;-)

To *stop* spyware, I use two products: Spyware Blaster and
Adaware.
