Spam filter accepting e-mails but they're not arriving in inbox

Using Outlook 2003.
Some arriving e-mails are landing in my inbox but others are not.
However, I can see the e-mails - the ones which haven't landed - in the
accepted e-mails section of my spam filter.
What's going on here then?

See if you don't have rules configured or a view/filter applied to your
folders.

Looking back through the group, it would appear that this problem has been
going on for some time, at least for several months. Surely Microsoft knows
about it by now.

A lot of them have been traced back to configuration issues and not with the
program itself. Tried my suggestion already?

You may be right. I've just had a second chat with McAfee and I think we may
have got to the nub of the problem. Cheers.
