Spam Blocker.

Outlook 2K3. MS Spam Blocker.

I've added a DOMAIN to block (ex: bob.com). I still get messages from users
in this domain (ex: (e-mail address removed)). They goto my Spam folder, but that's
not the object of the excercise of blocking a DOMAIN.

Does anyone have an idea as to why the Entire Domain is not blocked?

BTW: the examples are ficticious.

It is - the Microsoft Junk Mail filter only moves spam to the Junk Mail
folder, unless you have it configured to delete all suspected spam
automatically. If you want blocking at the server side you'll need to talk
to your ISP.

I should have said in my post, that the example I gave DOES NOT get moved to
the spam folder. My bad.

This domain @zoolant.com does not get blocked, nor any senders within that
domain. Other Entire Domains (ex: ebay.com) are all blocked.

It is NOT in my safe lists anywhere.

This is apparantly the only domain that doesn't get blocked. Yet other
entire domains (and any sender from those domains) get moved to the spam
folder.

Hmm...I wonder if their display name is different from their actual sender
name. You might try viewing the headers (View | Options) of a particular
one of their messages to see if they're playing any games with masking their
real address.

You can also try right-clicking one of their messages and choosing Junk
E-mail | Add Sender to Blocked Senders List. Then go to the Blocked Senders
list, see if you can find that sender and replace the username with a "*".
