What a silly statement at the end

'In addition, Windows XP SP3 will be available on Windows Update and the
Microsoft Download Center soon.'

When is soon? Next week? Next month? Who cares anymore?

Microsoft is experiencing a problem where SP3 interferes with Windows
Dynamics Retail Management System. They are reconfiguring the update server
to not offer SP3 to computers that run WDRM. Once that is complete, they
are expected to release SP3 to the general masses. See this article for
