Hello, I am trying to update my computer to windows xp pro service pack 2 , but it keeps saying my product key is invalid. This has never happened to me before until I reformatted. Did I enter the key wrong? Is there any way I can re enter it? My windows is not pirated in any way, thanks!

Sounds like you may have either a corporate or a pirated version, despite
what you may believe. What is the source or your original install...OEM or
retail disk?

Take a look at this link, the section "Invalid Product Key"

Wait until SP2 is officially released.

Were you able to in SP1 successfully.????? If not then the key you are using
is a pirate key, if you entered it wrong you wouldn't be able to install XP.
