SP2 vs Intel Bayfield driver CD

Not a big deal, but annoying... the driver CD that accompanies Intel
Bayfield (full ATX, 865G chipset) motherboards does not autorun
properly if SP2 is installed. Mobo revision -409, BIOS 22 June 2004.

Specifically, the CD autoruns OK, but the installer then fails on a
toime-out error. You can still install all the drivers manually, by
going into each relevant CD dir and banging on .EXE or pointing to the
location from Device Manager, Update Driver, but it's a drag.

Building 2 x Bayfields at the moment. Mileage:

Bayfield + Celeron Prescott 2.4GHz
Install XP Home SP1a
Install SP2
Install Intel's drivers off CD
-> Failure as described

Bayfield + Celeron Prescott 2.66GHz
Install XP Home SP1a
Install Intel's drivers off CD
-> OK
Install SP2 to be done next

Aside from the CPUs, which are steppings D0 (microcode pushed to rev
14 by BIOS) and C0 (microcode pushed to rev 11 by BIOS), the systems
are identical. Intel's utility calls them steppings 4 and 3,
microcode E and B, respectively; OK for Prescott :)

First, you may want to try newer drivers than what is on that CD. Here
are the latest Intel INF Chipset Drivers:

Your latest graphics card drivers are available on Intel's website here:
