SP2 Network install question

Hello to all. I have a small home network of 5 PC's; 3 desktops running XP
and 2 laptops running XP Pro. Since they are all running XP, I thought it
would be easier to update with the netowrk version so I downloaded the SP2
update and burned it to CD for installation. I just have two questions:

Is there anything special I need to do before running it?

Does SP2 have a different version for the 2 machines running Pro?

There is only one SP2 for all versions of Windows XP Professional, Home,
TabletPC and Media center.
