SP2 monitor resolution

I downloaded SP 2 last night. The monitor is now on low resolution. When I go
into contol panel, appearance, display, settings and try to adjust the slider
to get a higher screen resolution nothing happens. I am the computer
administrator. Any ideas how to achieve a higher resolution?

The apply button is not working, it's grey and does nothing when the mouse
goes over it. Sorry about the lack of technical talk, I'm not too good on the
'puter. Thanks though.

Hi:

You may also wish to go to VGA vendor's site and see if they have updated
driver and especially for SP2.

If they have it, you can download and install the updated driver and see if
everything has been changed.

Not sure if they have a driver specifically for XP SP2. It's a Hyundai Q15,
there is a q 15 driver and a xp_q15 driver. When I down load the driver
(xp_q15.zip) it arrives as what looks like an adobe file and then I get the
message on opening it that it is either not a supported file type or it is
corrupted.
Any ideas? Am I missing something that is obvious and easy to sort out?

You may need to just uninstall/reinstall the drivers for your video
card. Get the latest drivers from the card manufacturer's web site.
