SP2 is ok, how do I recover the uninstall disk space?

If I decide that SP2 is on my machine to stay, how do I recover the almost
400 MB of uninstall info? Just delete the
\windows\$NtServicePackUninstall$ folder, and the uninstall reg entry? or
is there a better way/tool for doing this? The Hotfix Backup Remover tool
does not recognize the SP2 backups.

How about the 500 MB of dup files held in \windows\servicepackfiles, I
need to keep those, don't I, for future runs of Add/Remove Windows
Components, right???

TIA

If you are risk averse (I am), how about burning the files, just in case?
