SP2 IE Link Don't Work

I just purchase a computer from hp with sp2 installed

When i click on a link to open a new window, the new window open but nothing
shows. (i turned off my IE popup blocker still does not work)

When i try to play yahoo games it opens a new window and does not load up
anything. (i already tried installing a java update and it didnt fix the
gaming)

I updated my laptop so SP2 to see if its just my new computer and it does
the same exact thing. What can i do?

In addition to Vincenzo's solutions to your new window issue, a lot of Yahoo
games, it seems, run better with MS's Java VM. Instructions on how to

The fix did not work at all nor the the java fix what is going on.........
