I ordered the SP2 CD on the 25th and it arrived today--pretty quick
service. No issues with the install or performance so far, but I'm
still trying to get my nerve up to install it on the laptop.

Before I installed it on my laptop (Toshiba Satellite, 2003 model) I
went to Toshiba support to see if it was OK. Toshiba has a notice on
their support page that SP2 can be installed. I recommend contacting
your laptop maker's support to see if it's OK to install and any
possible issues that may arise.
