Hi,
We sell a wireless network analyzer that has some issues with the
firewall on SP2.  The only way to get the application to work
properly is to totally turn off the firewall.  The major problem
is that any time the wireless NIC (Card bus) changes states there
is approximately a one minute delay before any packets are sent
from the driver to our application, even though we get packets
directly from the driver.  For a wireless analyzer we
are constantly changing the NIC state, jumping channels, active
scanning and at certain intervals linking.  I have tried turning
the firewall off just for the wireless NIC and even that doesn't
help.  Any thoughts what we can do or a better place to ask this
question?
Thanks,
Tim Lee
