SP2 Firewall: enable firewall for one connection not another

R

Robert

I am running XP PRO with SP2. I have two network cards.
One is connected to a cable modem, another is connected
to a local network. I use ICS to share the Internet
Connection to other computers. (I also have a 1394
firewire connection that is disabled.)

I want to enable the firewall for JUST the Cable Modem,
but disable it for the local network. However, it seems
that I can only turn the firewall on and off for ALL
connections, not individually.

How do I turn the firewall ON for the Cable Modem, and
OFF for the local network card? (I was able to do this
before the SP2 update.)

Also, how do I search this newsgroup using AND so I can
do a search such as "SP2 AND Firewall". Typing multiple
words seems to be an OR funtion.

Thanks
