SP2 Causes NetBT Error in Event Viewer

After I installed SP2 I getting this error


Initialization failed because the transport refused to open initial
Addresses.

EVENT ID: 4307

I went to eventid.net did not giv eme info on how to fix this

anyone know what this is?

NetBT is to do with WINS. Look in TCP/IP properties or your Lmhosts
files for correct WINS settings. For home users, WINS is not required.

Peter,

how do u do this? i went to network settings & says nothing for wins dont
think it used. using xp pro. can you tell me exactly where it is or to
disable it?

Ok I found it,

i had LMHOSTS Enabled checked i had to uncheck it & not no netBT errors.
this laptop is not part of a network so i assume i dont need it checked. or
can you tell me why SP2 enabled it?
