SP2 and Zone Alarm

I have ZoneAlarm 5.1. I heard that SP2 forces installation of its own fire
wall. If it is the case, is there a way not to install SP2's fire wall or to
remove/disable it permanently after SP2 installation? Are there any known
issues related to SP2 and ZonaAlarm?

Hi

The SP2 Firewall is enabled by default, but can be disabled via Control
Panel>Security Center. Click on 'Windows Firewall' towards the bottom of
the screen.

Thanks. Will it disable SP2 firewall permanetly or firewall will come back
everytime I restart the system?

Zone Alarm 5.1 interfaces perfectly with the Windows firewall. You do
not need to do anytning. The windows firewall is turned on by default
as the system loads; once Zone alrm has loaded, it reports back to
Windows and the Windows firewall is automatically shut off.

Any version of Zone Alarm priori to 5.1 does not intercave in this
way with the Windows firewall (or so I have heard; I had 5.1 installed
brfore I installed SP2).

Thanks.

I finally got around to installing SP2 on my system. Yes, it did recognize
my ZoneAlarm 5.1 and turned its own firewall off by default.
