SP2 and WPA-PSK

Guest

I am running xp pro sp2, all updates.

If I set my orinoco 600a AP to wpa-psk the clients will not create a netowrk
connection in time for computer settings, security policy, startup scripts.
The computer just goes right past it all and gets to the login screen before
the network card is even ready. I have to then wait about a minute and then I
can login tothe network and access everything. If I uninstall sp2 and switch
back to WEP 128k, the network card is ready at "preparing network
connections" and everything completes normally and as soon as the login
screen appears I can login. I don't understand this behavior. Please help.

Have you considered trying SP2 and a 128-bit WEP key? That would narrow
down the possibilities a bit ...
