Running XP Pro with a wireless Netgear network and 2 computers. Since
installing SP2 I can no longer connect to my wireless network. I have
followed the suggestions recommended by Microsoft and others within this
group with a similar problem, all without success. Any assistance would be
greatly appreciated, as I am new to networking.

I don't know what others have suggested but if you have
WEP enabled you may need to reenter the key.

Open TCP/IP properties of the wireless connection. Navigate to TCP/IP
filtering properties. Check Enable filtering, change Permit Only to
Permit All in the ports/protocols. Reboot once before disabling the
Enable setting.

Hi ........ I have had problems with my Netgear network and wired too.
I have ended up having to manually set the IP address to all pc's on the
network - INCLUDING the Netgear point and also disable DHCP on Wireless
point. This seems to have solved the problem ... although I was not too sure
what to put the DNS as so I used the Wireless ip address (192.168.0.27) and
the pc that is connected to the bigpond cable modem and them some of the DNS
that the cable modem was giving me --- not too sure how this is working out
but Wireless Network is fine , so far...
