Hello together,
we place XP systems at our customers and we perform helpdesk through ISDN
dialup and pcAnywhere. When installing SP2, we can dial in to the system but
not ping them any more and we can't connect using the IP-address (e.g.
\\192.168.115.10\C$) even I've enabled F&P sharing, ICMP,.... When disabling
the FW, everything works fine. Is there anything else to configure the FW to
allow pinging through an incoming dial-up connection?

so, maybe you can go in the firewall settings and klick
on exeptions and add a program. so now you can add
ping.exe, lays in system32, and it should work fine.

Yes you can set third party cookies in your browsre
settings, as well as set them in the firewall, to allow
or block sites.
