Hi I am trying to download SP1 and all I get on the download page is the
following

Can anybody advise me

Are you downloading SP-1 from here:
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/updates/sp1/default.mspx
If not and it is not a genuine Microsoft CD, discard and get a
legitimate copy.

But instead you should install SP-2:
http://www3.telus.net/dandemar/spackins.htm

If you still want to install SP-1 instead of SP-2, the Service Pack
Installation Checklist applies.
Make the obvious changes to install SP-1 instead of SP-2.
