Open and read the instructions in the Security Center. If
BlackIce is recognized as a firewall the Windows firewall
should know it (it does for ZoneAlarm) but if not you should
be able to turn the Windows firewall off and check a box to
turn the warnings off.

message | Thanks for the replies. The SP-2 was loaded from the
| Windows SP-2 Disc. Checked through as per your
| suggestions. All anti virus, Ad Aware, Spybot S&D, McAfee
| Virus Scan, BlackIce Firewall, and Spamfighter are all up
| to date and have been checked. Having done all this I
| disabled the Windows Firewall and at this time the system
| appears to have stabilized and is staying on line. Does
| this make sense that the conflict could be the Firewall
| programs. If so can I remove the Windows Firewall or
| permantly disable it. I have used the Blackice for quite
| a while and I have faith in its working.
