Source Object changing on save of subreport

In Access 2000, I have a report with two separate, unlinked,
subreports. The source object changes on the second subreport to that
of the first subreport. I have changed the source object in the
'properties' menu, upon save the source object reverts back to the
first subreport's source object. I have tried deleting and re-
creating the second subreport, and the same thing happens. How do I
set the source object of the second subreport so that it doesn't
change every time the report is opened or saved?

There is something you aren't telling us, Kelli.

Is there any code in the main report or in either subreport that could be
doing this?

When you open the report, do you use code in a form to open it? What does
the code say?

If subreport 1 is based on some sql or on a table, save the Sql as a query,
do the same for subreport 2 giving its query a different name.
Does the same thing happen?

I have experienced the same thing. Did you find out what is going
on? I am a very experienced user of reports and subreports, and use
them like this all of the time and have never had a problem until this
one application did exactly what you are talking about. The way I
fixed it last time was to just create a new report with new subforms
and everything was fine. I just went to add another unlinked
subreport and of course, , upon saving, its source object changed to
that of another subreport on that report. I tried creating a new
report like last time but I still experience the problem. I am going
to assume my application is corrupted and import the entire thing into
a new app. Anyone else experience this?
