Soundmax

Hi. I have Win XP Home. When I start my computer the icon
for soundmax automatically appears in my taskbar. I have
tried everything that I am aware of and I cannot prevent
the icon from coming up. Can anyone out there help me

If you have explored the options within the program itself, and can find
no way to disable auto startup, click START|RUN and type "msconfig" (no
quotes), and <enter>. Click the Start Up tab. If the program is listed,
UNcheck the box at the left. On reboot, checkmark the box that appears in
the warning message.

OK, what does "I have tried everything that I am aware of" mean? Please
let us know exactly what you have tried. You ran msconfig? You checked
in the program's options? You looked in the Startup "folder" in the
Start menu? Please post back with details.

Fred,

It's a user selectable setting on one of the pages when
you run the Soundmax utility software. Hard to find, but it
is there.
