I had no sound initially upon a clean install.
My ASUS P5N-SLI drivers would not load using "ASUS set-up" after I
downloaded them.
So..... I opened the file "32bit">>>selected 2K/XP>>>>scrolled down to the
installshield.exe file (the one with the little install shield logo)>>>opened
that file and let it run.
The installshield file worked fine where the ASUS setup failed. Now I have
sound just fine and dandy. I was disappointed that Vista doesnt have new
sound though.
