Sound

For some reason, I can no longer hear sound from my computer. I have run through all the diagnostics and all seems to be doing well. I even purchased a new set of speakers. Could it possibly be the sound card or a missing driver? Where can I go to get drivers. I use windows xp.
 
Well, what kinda computer do you have? Dell, Gateway, Compaq, HP? Well i think that the problem is that your sound card could be bad. Or, you dont have a driver installed at all. Please let me know what kind of computer you have. Ill get back to ya. I just need that one little thing. It will make my job easier! Thanks. Please reply and ill be glad to help ya!
