Sound problem

Hi,
Just built a new machine Asus p4c800-E Deluxe, P4 3.0, 1 gig ram - dual
channel, win xp pro. I'm using the front firewire port on my Kingwin 436
case. The problem is when I capture video it has no sound. I'm using the
onboard sound. Any hints or starting points would be appreciated. Thanks,

Check your pin connections to the mb. If ok, check for continuity of the
cable.
