Sound problem

The sound on my laptop is garbled, but only when playing a CD or DVD from a disk. Music downloaded on the hard drive sounds great, and CD's I've burned using the CD drive sound great on other devices. But when I use the CD/DVD drive, the sound is terrible.

the problem might lie with the device itself since you mentioned that you do not have any problem playing music from ur hard disk.

get the device (CD Rom) checked by a hardware specialist.

Thanks, I'm sure you're right. It's just strange that music that I upload or download from that same drive plays fine.
