Sound management

I have a keyboard attached to my computer for my disabled
son. He can use his fist to hit keys that play a song -
I have relevant third party software. The trouble is
that if he keeps hittingdifferent keys more and more
tracks play at the same time, so a cacophony results. Is
there some way of instrcutng my computers sound card not
to play more than once sound source at a time?

Thanks for any help.

Yours,

Ken

This is a difficult one.

I think your best bet is to ask the company that provided the "relevant
third party software"

Sounds are driven by the software application in this case, and it is within
that application that the control you are seeking would need to be. If it is
not there, then I don't think there is really anything you can do from an XP
point of view.
