Today I upgraded from Windows 98 to Windows 2000, on a
Dell Latitude Laptop. I am an instructor and before The
upgrade I could play a movie and the sound was loud enough
for the entire class. After the upgrade I can barely hear
the sound, My volume controls are maxed out in windows
volume control and media player is maxed as well. Is there
something in win2000 that attenuates the sound. Please
Help.

Hi Tim

Have you double clicked on the Volume Icon and verified if *all* volume
indicators are maxed?

Regards,

Fabio
