Sound Issues

I am having a problem with hearing some sounds on my
computer. This happens both online and off. If I put a
music CD in, I can hear this; but, if I put in a Language
Learning CD with voice, I can't hear that. I tried to
watch the news on REALplayer and I could see the pictures
fine, but couldn't hear them talking. Please let me know
if there is anything I can do. Thank you. JP

Most likely reasons is that the sound card settings are muting inputs or
the drivers were not properly installed or wrong drivers. Double click
the "speaker icon" in the systen tray and check that the sliders for the
various "inputs" are turned up.
