sound card

Hi, I just installed Windows 2000 Profesional on an older
HP Pavilion 6653c. I can't get it to read the sound card.
Can any one help? Do I need a new card? Is there an
upgrade or a patch. I have tried everything else. HELPP!

Greetings --

Contact HP about obtaining Win2K-specific drivers for the sound
card. If they will not or cannot provide any, contact the sound
card's manufacturer for drivers. If none are provided, then you may
well have to replace the sound card with one that _is_
Win2K-compatible.
