sound card discrepancies

upgraded from win 98 to win xp pro sound not working
tryed to upgrade yamaha opl3-sax wdm driver still not
responding any ideas

the bottom of the page...

Did you uninstall the Win98 version?
(Not just delete a few files, but go into Device Manager, select the device,
and Uninstall it, reboot)
The hardware wizard should take it from there.
