Sound and Picture out of Sync

when i try and play an AVI file the sound is a few seconds infront of the
picture, i have a media centre contected to my plasma via an HDMI, when i try
the same AVI file on a PC with XP it works fine, any ideas ???

Are you doing the same thing on the XP machine as the Vista machine? Are
you connected to your plasma on both machines through HDMI?

Sounds like your Vista setup is playing through HDMI. Copy the video to the
PC and see if it plays correctly
