Am unable to place volume icon in taskbar.

Error message reads:

"Windows cannot display the volume control on the taskbar because the Volume
Control program has not been installed. To install it, use Add/Remove
Programs in Control Panel".

Another message said; "cannot find sndvol.exe"

Have tried to load as instructed and by using original disks without success.

Original cds from the mfg are just about worthless after 60 days...Try going
to the brd mfg web site for current audio drivers or find the mfg of the
sound
hardware and go to thier web site.
