Sorting

I have always been able to sort a column by clicking on it and picking
ascending order. Now I am unable to. any suggestions? this is very important
because we sort our data by different columns all the time.

Hi,

What version of Access? Is this while viewing a table, the results of
a query, a form in datasheet view or something else? What do you see when
you click on the column? Anything? Nothing? Are you able to choose
Ascending or is it greyed out?
