QUIGLET

I HAVE A FILE LIST CONSISTING OF NUMBERS AND NAMES. IT IS NOT TABULATED NOR
IS IT IN A TABLE SUCH AS 0423-004-2810 DOE, JANE. I WANT IT TO SORT BY THE
FILE # AND RETAIN THE NAME WITH IT. WHAT TO DO?
 
Word 2003 or older: Table - Sort
Work 2007: Home tab, Paragraph group, Sort
