I have a multiple colored lines' data. Any idea how to sort without
disturbing formats.

THANX

How are the coloured lines coloured? If by Condiutional Formatting what is
the formula you are using?

Replace @mailinator.com with @tiscali.co.uk

Use Conditional Formatting to color-band the rows.

Select a bunch of rows or range of cells and Format>CF>Formula is:

=MOD(SUBTOTAL(3,$A1:$A$2),2)=0

Pick a nice color and OK

The banding will hold through filtering and sorting.
