i currently have time slots for my clients that start at 10 am and end at 5 pm

when i try to sort them ascending it starts at 1:00 , 1:30 then 10:00 etc

how can i get this to start at 10: 00 and end a 5pm

It sounds like you have the filed set up as a text field since that is how
Access will sort text fields that contain numbers (all the 0's together then
all the 1's etc.) You might try to change to a date/time field then format it
to the way you want the time to display, then try the sort that way.

What's the datatype of this field? My guess is that it's Text - use a
Date/Time field instead and it will sort chronologically.
