I'm using Access 2000. I have a simple table and want to
sort two columns. In the table view, I highlight the first
column and then sort and this first column is sorted ok.
When I then sort the second column, the second column
sorts ok but the first column goes out of sort. I think
I'm following the instructions for a multiple column sort.
Is it possible to sort multiple columns in table view with
Access 2000?

Yes, it's possible. If the columns are not next to one another, drag the
column you want as the secondary sort so that it is immediately to the right
of the first column. Then, highlight both columns and then click the sort
button.
