I IanC Sep 6, 2008 #6 Hi Ken If you can unprotect the sheet, you should be able to sort the dat, then lock the sheet again. I'm not sure what happens with the locked cells, though. That is, I'm not sure whether the locking stays with the cell reference or the data. Try it on a copy of your worksheet first, just in case.
