Sorting favourites

I often add some links to my favourites, I have many, for some reason they
go on the bottom in alphabecical order, not in the origonal list above them.
I want to refresh so that they are all in the correct order. Is it possible?

Thanks

Not automatically. To sort, right click on any item in any list of favorites
and choose "Sort by name". If you have items in (sub)folders in the
Favorites list, you'll have to enter each folder one by one and sort its
items. Sorting folders doesn't automatically sort the items in the folders
in other words.

Someone's probably written a utility to do this.

Exit the folder then reenter it. They should be in sorted order this time.

Sorted it by experimenting! It's not the folder I need to right click on,
it's any of the actual links in a folder. My mistake!

Thanks

That's why I said:

If your list contains just folders, the folders will be sorted but not their
contents. If your list contains just links the links will be sorted. If your
list contains a mixture of links and folders... (You probably get the idea.)

Glad to have been of help.
